Hello ckarol86,
It must mean that there is something being added to the disk when inserted to the camera. We don't really normally use card reader on the USB ports of the NAS as those were designed for HDDs' USB.
Have you tested the formatted SD card on Windows 7 if the computer will detect it?

I spent a bit time on testing various of situations.
Below I will describe what I checked already:
1) I used 3 different card readers: is not card reader compatibility problem
2) SDcard is recognized as sdd1: hardware is OKDevice Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type /dev/sdd1 8192 61896703 61888512 29.5G c W95 FAT32 (LBA)
3) When I mount it manually: it works, I can read files (in /mnt/sd) but card is not detected in admin page
mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt/sd
It looks like this is automount 'script' doesn't mount it automatically, but why...?

Hello ckarol86,
Maybe other users who do this might help and share their thoughts, I don't do this to USB ports of ReadyNAS.
