RN102 Expansion through eSata port
I was wondering if there was possibly any type of expansion similar to the EDA500 for the RN300 and RN500 series NAS; for the RN100 series? Or is the eSata port just for an external hard drive/back u...

I also have a question concerning the eSATA Port of the 102 which is familiar to this discussed here, so I dont open a new thread: Is it possible to add a third drive via eSATA as a permanent share data e.g. for only videos? I dont want to add it to the raid array!
My idea is, that I build a Raid-1 with the 2 internal drives for more important data, photos and music and for videos I use a separate external (but more or less permanent) drive on eSATA. I cant find an exact demo how the share data is configured atm, but is this possible?
