Since you already did a factory reset on your RN104, try to initially set it up with only 1 disk inside. Try these steps:
1. Insert 1 disk then perform a factory reset.
2. Download again the FW v6.2.2 from this link below (its possible that what you have downloaded earlier is corrupted that is why it failed to update):
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/ ... .2-arm.zip
Note: Be sure to unzip it before uploading it to your NAS.
3. Try to update the FW to v6.2.2 and check if it will be successful.
