But I remember why I looked at my error log. I couldn't access it using readycloud.

The simplest approach is to use paid netgear support (my.netgear.com). Ask for per-incident support - which should be less than $100 USD.
Another way is to do a factory reset, and rebuild the NAS. If you have a current backup, that's cheapest way to go, and it will clear out any corruption in the OS partition and/or the data volume.
Do you have experience using linux shell commands? If so, it is possible to boot the system in a tech support mode, and look at the filling OS volume.
