Rn204 backups are not completing - again
This is another occurrance of something that hapened back in 2016 ( see : after 6.5.2 update backups pc to NAS do not complete ) my weekly updates from PC to NAS were working ok - then went ...

This has now been identified as an error in the backup process not recognising error response from PC. a Windows update had set my PC network profile to default which turned on password checking. when I tested a source access in the settings on the backup - the PC returned invalid username and password .
this is not being recognised by the backup process so just hangs in the start of the process for ever more.
I am sure that this was reconised in earlier firmware versions - I have reported this in a new discussion so will close this one.

I am now on version 6.7.4. it was doing the same thing on the previous release as well.
