the ReadyNAS RN21200, you can usually reset the admin password without losing your data by using the OS Reinstall option. Just be careful not to select Factory Default, as that can erase your data. It’s best to back up important files first if possible.

See page 51 in the manual for information on the OS reinstall (which will among other things reset the admin password back to password):

It also will

1. set the network configuration to DHCP with no bonding.
2. disable volume quota (which can be re-enabled from the volume settings wheel).
