RN316 Booting up to 99%

Question

Attempted to update using admin panel. Update failed. Upon reset of NAS Boots anywhere from 84% up to 99%.

Plugged HDMI in and following came up on screen

Attempted to boot through recovery USB v.6.10.5 however doesn't seem to do anything and still shows

When I log in using admin and correct password percentages move up as it asks over and over to 99% and then in what appears to be an endless loop

Any help much appreciated

I'm wondering what would happen if you tried a fresh install on a spare disk.
