Hi. I wanted to insert second hdd to nas. Raidar 6.3 cant do raid 0 or jbod, I had to use raidar 4.3.8. But after reboot second hdd lost from system. After that, I insert hdd in PC to check for corru...
I find the answer by typing "netgear lock hdd" in google
Did you do accidently do a secure erase on one of the hard drives? Maybe try putting them back into the NAS, and power up for about 5 minutes or so.
I generally suggest starting with only one disk inserted, and then set it up as flexraid/jbod. Then add the second disk as a second volume after setup.
"secure erase" - is this point "erase" in setup in raidar?
One time Im not wait for the end of erase, just reboot nas. Second time I start and after few hours nas hang up - didnt answer from net.
Now I start it again with one disk.
