RND4000 NV+ v2 & Seagate 3TB drives - firmware issue on iMac
I have 2 new Netgear recommended , Seagate 3TB Barracuda Hard Drives which on the Netgear compatability page says may require a firmware upgrade. On the Seagate site it states that the CC4H upgrade...
The warning regarding not using CC$H? for RAID drives appears when running the windows installation software. I didn't pursue the installation on the one machine I have available as it uses a raid, and there are no spare sata points .
I may have to take the drives into work (I'm on holiday at the moment, and get my IT guys to do the upgrade for me)
