RND4000 NV+ v2 & Seagate 3TB drives - firmware issue on iMac
I have 2 new Netgear recommended , Seagate 3TB Barracuda Hard Drives which on the Netgear compatability page says may require a firmware upgrade. On the Seagate site it states that the CC4H upgrade...
I am using this Netgear NAS with Western Digital and not Seagate hard drives.
These Western Digital hard drives are listed below (as well as in the attached screenshot).
Is there a special Western Digital firmware update that I should load?
Or if I can load the Seagate firmware update (from the http://knowledge.seagate.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/223651en website) then which one do I load? I want to be sure to load the right one (see the screenshot).

Your NAS is limited to 2 TB drives, it does not support anything larger.
OK so is there any way that we can make this NAS recognize these four 3 TB hard drives as 2 TB hard drives?
If so how can this be done?
Please provide me with the exact steps.
