RSYNC ERROR 4

The DNS name is a local resolution (I am using OpenWrt router)...
The error looks to be only shown when trying the job from GUI ReadNas, but the job also look to complete...
on the ReadyNas :

the SMB, and RSYNC-SSH works fine.
only the pure RSYNC gie me this error...

Did you try adding -rsh=rsh to the command line? If you did, then what happened?

Yes...tried...
Works fine from command line, with or without:
-rsh=rsh
It's only with the ReadNas WEBUI that I get this error with rsync.
Same command line (catched from a ps aux) in terminal work

It is odd that the captured command line works, but the backup job doesn't.
But you really should be using rsync over ssh anyway, since ordinary rsync isn't encrypted, and you are sending it over the internet.

This! Please don't send un-encrypted rsync over the Internet. Rsync over SSH all the way.
