Rsync Incremental Backups Failing

Hi,

I updated our two Pro6 nas units last week to 4.2.22. Over the weekend, we began receiving failure notifications for scheduled backup jobs using rsync.

Here is what the backup job's log says:

INCREMENTAL Backup started. Mon Oct 1 11:10:31 PDT 2012

Job: 001
Protocol: rsync
Source: [Software]/
Destination: 10.3.248.62::software

sending incremental file list
rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes to socket [sender]: Connection timed out (110)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (5 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(605) [sender=3.0.9]

Backup failed. Mon Oct 1 11:41:44 PDT 2012.

Reason for failure:
Error encountered copying data from source path /Software/ ==> 10.3.248.62::software due to unknown reason. Please see log.

Here is what the system log says:

Error encountered copying data from source path /Software/ ==> 10.3.248.62::software due to unknown reason. Please see log. [Job 001]

I have tried running the jobs manually, but I get the same result.

Is anybody else having issues? Does anybody have suggestions for me?

Thank you,
Brett
