Rsync PC to ReadyNAS

I have the same problem, and don't want to overwrite my rsync package. The problem for me stems from the fact that my PC has some files from old backups and the owner/group are invalid. I don't care about ownership for those files, so I tweaked the Frontview backup script to stop syncing over uid/gid. To do this, ssh into your nas and edit /frontview/bin/backup and change this line:
to:
note that there are two occurrences of this line - one for NFS->LOCAL, the other for RSYNC->LOCAL. Since most of us are using rsync daemon on Windows, you want to modify the second line. Enjoy.
