Irl, I had a similar problem with FireFox (under X.6.eight) yesterday: after 8 hours opened on an admin UI page, FireFox was totallly unresponsive. Unfortunately, I didn't check the CPU%.
About my other problem with Safari5, here is Netgear's support "final" answer:
I suppose it's useless to remind them that Safari5 is advertised as compatible with radiator6.0.8 :?

The high level inform me that is an issue about the FW and the engineer team work on it so you can use the safari6 for now any you can follow up the new Firmware on :
