Samsung UN50EH5300F, ReadyNAS NV+
Hey Guys,
I've seen a few different topics listed around but, noticed trying some of them didn't get me anywhere or updating helped but problem still happens. My issue is, I just bought a Samsung UN50EH5300 (50inch LED Smart TV). With my ReadyNAS NV+ I try to stream content in different video file formats (Avi, mkv, etc..) to the tv. Using the onboard AllShare/DLNA. Now after reading through some threads I ended updating the ReadyDLNA to v1.1.0-rc4 as posted. That did seem to work but once again the problem came back. (If it is a problem).
Basically when I turn my TV on and the ReadyNAS is always on, I press 'source button' on the remote. It list's the ReadyNAS NV+ but when i start to watch a show it disconnects after x mins of watching. Then when i click source menu again the ReadyNAS NV+ is no longer listed.
I can no longer see the ready nas but if i go into the app called 'samsung link' it list's all the previously played videos. When I select one It plays, so I assume it knows the previous path and i can watch the entire show. So that means it can play to the server but why can't i see it on the tv's Source list anymore? why does it disappear.
Oh i'm using the Sparc chip (I think)

- arcturus1AspirantI am not sure of the exact issue, but I have the same TV, and am running into this issue with tversity. I am using tversity on a windows server due to my readynas NV+ being the victim of power surge. So I am thinking this is probably an issue with the samsung "smart" tv and DLNA devices moreso than it is the readynas.

Hi there ...I have an ULTRA 4 and have been getting consistent disconnects whilst watching streaming media to my 55 Samsung LCD (I was running the latest firmware).
Today I decided to flash a much older firmware "RAIDiator-x86-4.2.19" Now the disconnecting has stopped.
I know it states not to go back, but the later firmware's cause this disconnect issue.
Its running fine now ( ISCSI is fine and no evident downside from reverting to older firmware)
PS I did backup all my data before hand just I case ! - fmblommanAspirantHi, a late answer to this blogg.
I have exactly the same probleme whith my Samsung UE46F6515 led TV and my RedyNas Ultra 2.
I will always be disconected after a short time, but i tried to do an reupgrade from "2.25" to "2.19"
and it worked perfect after that.
Thanks fore this tips.
And i hope you will understand my bad wroten english.
