Wow, $140 shipped on newegg.... if only there was no tax...
I'm still not confident in using 4 of these drives in the readynas in place of my existing 4x1TB greenpower drives... too much worry and not enough bank for the buck
concerns:
Will disk spindown work?
Will the drives stream well--will they stall for seconds to minutes on large xfers?
Any other issues that would prevent them from not working 100% smothly with the readynas????
You gotta ask these questions if you're going to plunk down $600 and put these drives in one by one over about two weeks to expand the Xraid volume to about 4.3TB versus ~2.75TB... sigh...
