I wanted to give a final update on the ordeal. The Volume Expansion did, in fact, finally complete today! It took about 50 hours, IIRC. All of our data appears to be intact. I will be testing out the streaming of data soon. Thanks for the warning about the new Seagate firmware update maybe not playing nicely with the ReadyNAS. If I read correctly, simply disabling the write cache resolves the streaming problem though, right? The trade off is a hit on write speed, I assume. That may be acceptable if we can maintain streaming speeds. We'll see.
