I called Seagate on this past Tuesday (1/6). I waited on hold for about 20 minutes before I was able to talk to a representative. I gave him the part numbers, serial numbers, and firmwares off the labels on the drives. About 30-45 minutes later, I received an e-mail with a link and instructions as to how to obtain the firmware upgrade. Please note that to upgrade the firmware, you will need to connect the drives directly to a SATA port on your computer; you cannot upgrade the firmware when the drive is in the ReadyNAS or other type of external enclosure.
