I have managed to test the CC1H firmware now properly, although it has improved read access for me it still does not fix the errors completely.
At least Winamp will now load the video file, but it skips and jumps all the time, whereas before on firmware CC1G Winamp and my Archos player refused to even load the video files.
So it would seem firmward CC1H is still full of bugs. I have not yet received a response from Seagate yet, if they do not respond by Monday I am returning my 5 drives for other models.
