Yes, you'll see a message when you open up FrontView.
I also get an email alert at least I have with the three events to date. I always seem to get my email alerts at 4am so I'm assuming that is when the readynas checks the SMART status.
Mine hasn't kicked out any emails about the reallocated sectors yet, so I think there is a rate of change threshold for the email alert. One or two reallocated sectors don't trigger an email, but maybe more than that or a rapidly increasing amount will...
Mine is holding steady at 2 reallocated sectors on one of the drives. I'll give it some more time and check in again later...
