Any idea when this will be supported :-)

Says CC or LC firmware on a drive is good for the 1.5TB drives - others need to update...but they haven't posted the firmware yet. - mattkimeAspirantI have 1.5TB x4 running successfully with 0 sector reallocations. I exchanged one drive which developed 7 sector reallocations within a few days.
My drives are running at 46, 49, 49, 44°C (or 111-120°F). Is this a normal and safe operating temperature? - darwin1AspirantMy ReadyNAS Pro RND6000 arrived today. I put 4 brand new 1.5TB drives in (2 different batches), creating the array was pretty quick (10-15 minutes) but it is resyncing the 4th drive now. Claims 5 more hours at 49.1MB/sec. Is this acceptable? Seems low?
2 drives are SD19, 2 are CC1H
I haven't tried pushing any files to it since it's not on gigabit right now, but I will when I get it home tonight :) - JellenAspirant

Ok please post your speed results. - darwin1Aspirant

Ok please post your speed results.
It is still resyncing Disk 4, I don't have teaming set up (adaptive teaming seems to be confusing things, I'll work on that later.
Copying from my mac pro -> NAS: max 73MB/sec
Copying from NAS -> mac pro: 25MB/sec max
So far I'm impressed with the write speed. At this point, I'm going to chalk up the read speed problem to the resync.
Test setup:
ReadyNAS Pro RND600 w/ 4x ST31500341AS 1.5TB
HP J9078A 22 port 10/100/1000 port switch ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833316077 )
Mac Pro w/ 8GB RAM, 300GB 10kRPM Raptor as a system drive.
File was an 8GB media file.
edit:
Volume is now synced, ran the tests again:
mac pro -> NAS: 74MB/sec max, seems to be averaging about 70MB/sec right now.
NAS -> mac pro: 77MB/sec.
I'm writing a bunch of stuff to it now, but I'll do more read tests tomorrow. This thing is QUICK. About the same speeds I see on my workstation at the office (storage is an EMC clariion) - JellenAspirantDamn, those results do look fast, guess my NV+ doen't like my 1.5TB Seagates that much :(
Wish you a lot of fun with your new set-up :-) - phrozenAspirant

That's a pro, not an NV. The NV is not that fast, no matter what disks you have in it. - JellenAspirant

I'm aware its a prob, but thanks :-)
I'm just disapointed getting an average of 22MiB/sec as max write speed to two of these drives with CC1H in an NV+
Still waiting for other NV+ users to post their speed results with these drives.
Kind regards

If you don't have jumbo frames and all of the right high performance settings, I don't think you'll see better than 22 MB/s no matter what you do. Even Infrant publishes that...
http://www.readynas.com/wp-content/uplo ... ter-nv.gif
23 MB/s is standard. See the bottom of this page:
http://www.readynas.com/?cat=4 - JellenAspirantBut as I said in previes posts, I got a write result of 40MiB/sec on a two drive 500GiB Readynas Duo setup.
Identical setup, identical network, idenctial optimized network settings (except jumboframes)
So I hope to see some other speed results with these drives in in NV+ config, maybe then I can figure out how to optimize performance or buy other drives.
Kind regards
Jellen
