Select Snapshot folder
Is it possible to select a folder outside the one whose snapshot I want to make?
For this purpose I created a folder to host the snapshots of all other shared folders
However I do not find an option to select the foder where I want the snapshot to be created
Is it possible at all?

however after creating the snapshot can i move its content to other folder outside the one whose snapshot refers to?the reason stands on the fact that search within the shared folder includes also the content of the snapshot which is within its tree
Again, no. Though you don't need to make the snapshots routinely accessible (and mine are not). Even if they aren't accessible, you can still restore old versions from the snapshots (in windows) by right-clicking on the file or parent folder and looking at "restore previous versions".
You can create snapshot for share folder only.
