Selective Access
Hi, This has been going for a few days, in the past it's been caused by a Windows 10 update, and rectified a few days later. I've tried looking through the posts but so far none have had a simil...

Hi, thanks for taking time to reply.
Both iPhone/iPad and computers give the same results.
- What exactly happens when you type \\ followed by the IP address of the NAS in the address bar of Windows explorer? (Ex. \\192.168.3.5)
- Using your computer, what happens when you type http:// followed by the IP address of the NAS in the address bar of a web browser?
It opens the username/password entry, which I enter, and then it goes to this:
which takes around 60 seconds to fill the bar, followed by:
but it's definitely on, and not doing any backups, snapshots are off.
Further, the discs spin up when I access from PlayerXtreme. But don't when I want to open the admin page.

Hello W55CMB,
Accessing it using \\ followed by NAS IP should be using Windows explorer, this is the same window when you open Documents. Not Internet Explorer or any web browser. It should bring up the shares of the NAS to allow you to get to the files.

Earlier you posted that the IP address was 192.168.0.3
Is it possible you typed the wrong IP address? Note that you can't have a space after the \\ (not sure if you did that or not, the screen shot makes it hard to tell).

Hi,
It was, but after further "turn it off and on again" of the router it has changed, and since then, it's now 0.43. I've tried to set static to no avail, but I can track it, so it's not a problem. No spaces.
Since my last post, I've found this and tried it, but that doesn't work either. Resulting in Error 67 or 53
Open CMD and enter
net use * /delete
net use t: \\NASIPADDRESS\data /user:admin NASADMINPASSWORD
