Setting up... encryption?
So I turned on my new 316... 6 drives in it. Appears that it will take 24 hours to create/rebuild the volume (although I am able to copy data to it). It's currently using x-raid2 ( I didn't have a...
You can expand an encrypted volume as with a normal volume.
A word of caution:
A backup is recommended before expanding a volume, especially vertical expansion (replacing an existing disk with a larger one). You need to ensure that your data is backed up to another location (preferable another encrypted volume on another NAS)
