Yes I actually originally had the ReadyNAS on a different subnet to the PC because I needed to use a wireless connection for the iPhone to remotely control iTunes, therefore to get gigabit speeds I needed to put the ReadyNAS on another subnet as the iPhone connection needed to be on the same subnet as internet. Anyway now I don't need to do that so I could switch the ReadyNAS back to the same subnet as the router, ie 192.168.1.1
In the current setup I don't have a router/gateway on the same subnet as the ReadyNAS.
But I can connect fine to the ReadyNAS to access data and it shows up in my Network Places.
Why would the WIndows environment see the ReadyNAS and not Shadowprotect?
Many thanks.
