Share became empty, (but is still there)
Hy,
Since last Sunday I have the following problem on my NVX.
1.One of my shares which I named "Media" was suddenly empty
2. My toorent download manager successfully downloads files but doesn't put dowloaded files in the predefined folder in my "Media" share. (because it didn't exist any more)
3. So I re-added the download Folder for torrent, but nothing changed. (Files are downloaded but storred somewhere else)
What I did.
1. I connected to the readynas drive C: with "net use" an found out that on C, my lost share "Media" is still there, an the "Media" share I see in my browser or File-Eplorer
is called on my readynas c-drive "webroot"
2. all my torrent files are in the folder ".torrent" but aren't recopied to the defined place after download.
What can I do now?
thanks
Luc

- amac27AspirantI'd suggest that you contact support but if you want you can install enablerootSSH and edit the cat /etc/frontview/samba/Shares.conf.
Alternatively you can download the backup configuration and edit the Shares.conf into something like this:
[media]
path = /c/media
comment = "Media Server Share"
oplocks = 1
force create mode = 0666
create mask = 0666
force directory mode = 0777
directory mask = 0777
admin users = "admin","Administrator"
writeable = 1
guest ok = 1
