Shares lost

You have a full OS partition (/dev/hdc1)
Can you check to see how much space is used in /var/logs
If I am understanding you correctly, I am thinking your shares are not lost, just that your mapped drives on the PC aren't working.
If you open Windows File Explorer and enter \\nasname\sharename do you see the share contents?
What happens if you enter \\nasipaddress\sharename? You can find the nasipaddress from https://nasname/admin
Also what firmware is running on the NAS?
