SLOW backing up to USB

I'm not certain this is correct, at least not for the 4.1.8 version running on the NV+. I can certainly vouch for the fact that USB backup using 4.1.8 on an NV+ to a NTFS USB drive is brutally, painfully, impossibly slow.
if your performance is slow then there's not much you can do except make sure you use incremental backups.
Yeah but you gotta get the initial backup made.
I do wonder if it's possible to change the priority of the backup command within the NV+ to make it work faster. As it seems now, the USB transfers are the lowest of the processes, at least for my NV+.
