Slow copying speeds

I've just tried hooking up a disk using USB to the ports in the back of the NV+ and used ssh to copy a file to the NV+
The file is a 700MB ISO and had an average write speed of 2,40MB/s.
Also a pretty slow write speed in my opinion.
rsync --progress -ah /USB/file.iso /c/Share/file.iso
