I'm using the cables that came with the NAS and the router, I think they are capable of the gigabit connection. The speed appears when directly connected to pc. Only when I plug it into the router,however ever other device on the network reads and writes fine. Only my desktop pc writes slow. It appears to read fine.
I'll try different cables for the pc but perhaps It's the NIC?
