I'm also having this problem - the PS3 takes 5-10 minutes to see the ReadyNAS after the PS3 is turned on (ReadyNAS was running when PS3 was turned on).
The PS3 sees other media servers instantly no problem (such as other computers connected via WiFi on the home network), but the NAS always takes 5-10 minutes.
Initiating a rescan of the ReadyNAS makes it see it almost instantly.
Any ideas what might be causing this? Any help much appreciated.
FYI I have an RND2000 ReadyNAS Duo running RAIDiator 4.1.7 and ReadyDNLA v1.0.21. The home network is run through a BT Homehub 3.0 with no switches, ie the ReadyNAS and PS3 are both connected directly to the router via Cat 5 cable. Computers are connected via wireless.
