Slow to show on PS3
I have my REadyNas Duo hooked up on the PS3 to stream movies. However, it takes forever to show up, if at all. Each time I turn on the PS3 I have to "scan for media devices" is that normal? Additional...
Still, I don't believe that this is a performance issue of the Duo, because you say that rescan makes your NAS visible on PS3 immediately.
Unfortunately I am not an expert of this area, but I suppose somewhere some settings are just not right :)
What about the upnp setting on the NAS/Router? Does your PS3 says upnp enabled when doing a network test? (maybe this is not related to your problem at all, I don't know)
