SMB Hidden Folders are not 'hidden'

Hi,   I'm having a strange issue with hiding folders on my RN102. I have set certain folders to hidden that I dont want visible.   On my linux box if I naviage to smb://nas2.local/ I only get...

    This is happening because you are using the NAS admin account to access the NAS.  If you create a user account on the NAS, and use it's username/password you won't see the data volume.
