[SOLVED] ReadyNAS Duo NV: os reinstall
Hello everybody
I need your help as I am trying to reinstall the firmware after loosing all passwords :s
I found this link : http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24874/~/how-do-i-access-the-boot-menu-on-my-readynas-duo-%2F-nv-%2F-nv%2B-%2F-x6%2F600%3F
which should help me but process is not clear for me.
first: it is written that we should hold Power button but in the table, it is written to hold reset
second: about led , I have a led 1 and 2 but they light together ..
And finally : is there a way to know what append because I hear the fan working hard but I do not know what's going on
thanks for read and for help (I hope)

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThere are two boot menus. One where you press and hold the power button, the other where you press and hold the reset button.
1. Power down the NAS
2. Press and hold the reset button
3. Press the power button to turn the NAS on.
4. Continue holding the reset button.
5. After about 5 seconds the disk LEDs will blink. Release the reset button after this blink. - vandermerweMasterIn step 2 mdgm means press and hold the reset button I think.
