This is a link to the supported formats for the Sony Bravia TVs. Replace "KDL32EX720" with your model number to find out the exact specification for your TV.

Resampled some of my pictures in Photoshop, but the TV didn't show them. Instead a message "Unable to show file" ("Afspelen niet beschikbaar.") appears. This blog article describes the problem.

After looking into the chroma resampling in JPG by Photoshop, I found that saving the JPG with a quality setting of 6 solves the problem. Background information can be found in the link below.
