Specified network password is not correct
I've researched this on both the Windows side and the Netgear side with no satisfaction...
I have an older ReadyNAS NV+ with still works well. My problem is access some of the shares. Some shares work well from my Windows 10 PC. Others give me an error "The specified network password is not correct"
I've checked the settings for the shares that work vs. those that don't and there are no differences. I've followed a number of suggestions from Windows forums - no help.
Why would some shares work and others not? Is it a NAS problem or a Windows problem?
Help! I'm getting desperate to use my NAS beyond the shares the work well.
Thanks, Steve

Have you tried resetting the permissions for the files and folders in the affected share? Sometimes a change you have made in permissions does not trickle down to all the files already there, and this fixes it.

What firmware are you running?
Are you using share mode security or user mode security?
Firmware version is 4.1.16 (which is the latest per the update screen)
My security mode is set to "Share" with a workgroup of "WORKGROUP"
All of my shares are set to "nogroup" for the primary share.
As mentioned, some shares work and I can't get to others on the same NAS.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
Steve
