Well that's true. I have Caviar green disks on my setups, and those spin down much faster than 2 hours. I had a load cycle count near 100k within a few weeks on my Duo before I disabled the spin-down timer.
If it doesn't spin down before its been 2 hours, then it wouldn't be that much of a problem, no :)
