Couldn't you use iptables also ?
I have not tried it but it appears to be on the NAS.
nas-xxxxxxx:~# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
If your router firewall is not working right you probably dont want internet users getting to your NAS at all ??
