Step by step install guide for MusicIP on ReadyNAS x86
Anybody know of one? Need details!!! Would like to use it with Logitech Media Server 7.8. Thanks Jim
Thanks for convincing me that I don't really need to do this - I too enjoy the SmartMix plug in.
I had installed the JAVA for MusicIP but I'll back that out along with my poor attempt to install the MusicIP Headless software. I kept track of all the changes I made so hopefully I can bring the NAS back to where it was before I got in over my head.
Once again - thank you so much for taking the time to explain the plus & minus of MusicIP.
You must be a long time Slim Devices fan...I got hooked into ReadyNAS way back when Slim was pushing the marketing campaign --->> "Install your Squeezebox Server on an Infrant NAS"
It's been a sometimes rocky corporate road since then but it's been the most positive thing that's ever happened my music listening experience.
