I had only one cable plugged in, tried moving it to the other port but no luck there.
I was able to set it to a static IP and now I'm able to access the drive again. Thanks! I'm curious though, it's been working for years getting its IP from the router, why would that suddenly stop working?

Hello Soccerman18,
It seems it could not get an IP address from the network.
If you want to troubleshoot further to know what would have caused it, you may try doing soem problem isolation first. Like, if the NAS is connected to a switch (and switch is connected to a router), connect the NAS straight to the router and see if the same problem that it won't acquire a valid IP address from the network.
Please note that 192.168.168.168 is the default IP address of the NAS, if it does get an IP address from the network it automatically uses its default one.
You might also want to check if the firmware of the NAS is updated.
Regards,
