Sub folders missing using web access but visible in File Explorer
Hi. I have sub-folders missing when I access the ReadyNas through a web page. When I access through "Admin" and also "ReadyCloud" web access, I get folders from A to F but G to W are missing. I can a...

So....

7869 folders moved out 830 more folders gained
ratio wise not a great improvement but at least I can see more.
for info originally I had 241 folders in the top directory.
Try enabling http as a file sharing protocol for the share, and then see if http://nas-ip-address/Documents lets you see all the files.
I tried a subfolder that has about 4000 files. When I use the admin interface you are using, It didn't display the full list. When I pulled the scroll bar all the way to the bottom, it retrieved a few more. I had to repeat it quite a number of times before I reached the last file. So it eventually showed them all, but it took a fair amount of time.
The second path uses a very different (and very dated) presentation, but it did show me all the files in one go.
Though the RN100 systems do have quite limited memory, and might behave differently.

Thanks Stephen. I can fully access the files and folder through File Explorer via ReadyNas as a network resource and I have also mapped the ReadyNas\Documents to a Z:\ drive. Everything is there.
I'm accessing the ReadyNas via it's ip address - 192.168.XX.XX then fill in the login request using the admin login.
Instead of getting to the end of the Documents it stops early after the FSX folder then starts listing files in the top directory.
In the Accounts page there is only one user listed - "Admin". After the Factory Default reset I've not added any other users apart from myself to start up the ReadyCloud service.
Thanks for helping.

About how many subfolders do you have? If you add a level (for instance create an A-D folder and move all the subfolders that start with A through D into it), do you then see some of the "G" folders? Or are the same folders missing?
Also, did you ever see all the folders in the browser interface (with the number of folders that you have now)?

Do you mean https://192.168.xx.xx/admin or https://192.168.xx.xx/Documents? If you just enter https://192.168.xx.xx it likely is redirecting to https//:192.168.xx.xx/admin - but I want to be sure I know where you are.
The admin path should show you something like this:
The documents path would look something like this:

I'm logging in through Admin then as you say I've 192.168.XX.XX/admin in the address bar when my shares are being shown.
Valid point about the number of Directories. I have to go to work now so will be back in a few hours to move some of the Directories into a big sub-directory.

I've moved folders "A" to "E" to a new folder called "A to E" after I stupidly made a folder for them called "Moved A to E" which surprise, surprise I couldn't see because it started with "M" and I can only see to "F". All this was done within the NAS Admin page. Anyway, I can now see 24 more folders between "G to H" - not all the "H"s though. For information though 44 folders where moved to A-E but 1 folder was added to put them in "A to E" so 43 removed but only 24 gained. Rules out the Illegal Character idea, which was a good thought, so it appears I'm limited to the number that can be displayed. I'm now going down the road of "Have I reached the maximum number of displayable folders ?" I don't think I'm that bad with the number and this is only a domestic machine not a business one. I'll go away and count those.

Sorry I didn't answer -

I haven't been using the browser interface for a while now - no need to. I was staying away from home Sep 2018 to Apr 2019 and depended on the Readycloud feature and I'm pretty sure I could see everything back then. It was only when the looping issue with 6.10.5 happened I quickly noticed G folders and beyond weren't visible. It didn't concern me too much then as the looping was much more serious and most of what I do is on File Explorer. If I ended up living off Readycloud this could be very serious.
