Sub folders missing using web access but visible in File Explorer
Hi. I have sub-folders missing when I access the ReadyNas through a web page. When I access through "Admin" and also "ReadyCloud" web access, I get folders from A to F but G to W are missing. I can a...

ratio wise not a great improvement but at least I can see more.
for info originally I had 241 folders in the top directory.
Try enabling http as a file sharing protocol for the share, and then see if http://nas-ip-address/Documents lets you see all the files.
I tried a subfolder that has about 4000 files. When I use the admin interface you are using, It didn't display the full list. When I pulled the scroll bar all the way to the bottom, it retrieved a few more. I had to repeat it quite a number of times before I reached the last file. So it eventually showed them all, but it took a fair amount of time.
The second path uses a very different (and very dated) presentation, but it did show me all the files in one go.
Though the RN100 systems do have quite limited memory, and might behave differently.

Stats coming in for usage........
The folders that I moved into A to E Folder
Size 140 GB
Size on Disk 142 GB
Contains 33,197 files 7,869 Folders
The folders that are now visible after moving to folders to A to E
Size 5.07 GB
Size on Disk 5.63 GB
Contains 10,182 files 830 Folders
So....
33197 files moved out 10182 files now visible
7869 folders moved out 830 more folders gained
ratio wise not a great improvement but at least I can see more.

But can't lose sight of 43 top folders removed to "A to E" and only 24 new ones gained.

Thanks StephenB, I've never seen that view on a ReadyNas before but I can now see all the way down to the last directory, starts with "W" and can also get access into that.

I've tried the keep dragging down trick using the "Admin" interface and more folders appeared and kept going and have seen all the way to my last folder which starts with Z not W as I earlier thought. So as you say it lists some folders then gets bored and goes to files, but poke at it the folders re-appear.

Also in the Directory Tree on the left side initially it only shows as far as some of the "H"s. After dragging down and making more directories appear these now populate the tree list as well.

Good. So all the files are there, and visible (though the steps are a bit painful).
A practical workaround is to make the folder structure less "flat" so you don't have as many subfolders/files at each level. That could also improve the folder browsing speed.

For info - the just keep dragging down technique also works on the ReadyCloud page as well (you probably knew that). This means the ReadyNas is still working. My next thought is - if all the loose files in the parent directory are put in a folder I should have directories only and will they now all appear.

Sorry I replied with the "for info" reply as you were replying. I think you have solved this, so if you're OK with this, I'll mark your keep on dragging reply as problem solved. I'll add another reply after I've moved the individual files into their own directory and see what the result is. I've 2 x 4TB disks and I think the poor old 102 can't keep up with 2021 demands on a Nas Drive which I bought in 2013.

I've removed the loose files in the parent directory and this really helps. 152 folders are now listed on first viewing and the natural thing to do is scroll down which reveals more directories and this updates the directory tree in the side panel.
Thanks again to StephenB
