You are correct about the poor performance on the system. I do not even have any data on the system and it takes forever for the web based admin screen to come up. I was just hoping the data would not disappear due to this limitation. I can perhaps use this device to store archive of older rarely used files or backup to existing data.
Basically items which should be backup but hardly ever accessed.
Does this machine use special propitiatory RAM or is it standard RAM that can be purchased online store/ebay,etc..?
