"The data type is not supported" avi files on PS3!

What service are you using to stream the files to your PS3?

Not sure what you mean, I am using a wireless connection. The weird thing on my error is that some of the files work, some don't. For instance, I have a folder of Dexter episodes, of 12 episodes in the series, episode 1 shows the "this data type is not supported", episode 2 plays, episode 3 shows the error, episode 4 plays etc. They are all divx avi files, they are all within a mb or 2 of being the same size so I just cannot work out what is causing the error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you streaming using ReadyDLNA or some other method?

What version of RAIDiator is on the ReadyNAS?

If using ReadyDLNA what version are you using?

ReadyDLNA is enabled, as is UPnP, firmware is RAIDiator 4.1.7 [1.00a043], not sure how I check the version of ReadyDLNA if you could confirm I would appreciate it.

copy one of the files that fail to play to the ps3 - then see if that works.

At least that will elimate the netgear streaming issue
