Time machine cannot "see" my ReadyNAS Duo
Hi all,
Just bought my ReadyNAS Duo today, and have been able to get it to work as far as the Time Machine. I have a Mac Book Pro with the latest version of Lion (10.7.3), and when I open Time Machine and try to Selecet Disk TM does not find my ReadyNAS. Time Machine is selected in Frontview, and I have updated to the latest firmware on the ReadyNAS as well.
Thanks in avdvance...

- de_niroGuideAre the Readynas and MAC book in the same subnet?
Did you reboot both of them to see if the readynas is visible? - swedechrisAspirantHi,
Thanks for the quick reply :-)
My MacBook has the following ip-address 192.168.1.89 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and my ReadyNAS has 192.168.1.95 with the same subnet mask.
I re-booted both machines after installation... - Deb_BAspirantI am having the same problem with my MBP and Readynas Duo v2. I can use the NAS fine for other things (although it is painfully slow and occasionally has errors). Has it got something to do with it being on a mixed PC/Mac network environment?
