TimeMachine don't work with SMB and don't finish with AFP
Hi
I'm with Mac OS Big Sur and RND516 firmware 6.10.8
I setup RND with TM on SMB
But when I select RND in TimeMachine I have this error :
Impossible to work with SMB
I done the same but with AFP
I can connect on TimeMachine with my MAC but backup never finish after 20Go it deconnected
Then I never have complete backup of my Mac.

Is this working before or is this a first-time setup?
If it's the former, were there any events that might have caused the issue such as a FW update on the NAS or the Mac?
If it's the latter, have you also tried turning on file sharing and enabling SMB sharing on your Mac?Regards,

It was working since long years with same NAS
only change was update my mac to Big Sur from Catalina.
FW from NAS was not changed
