Tools Errors on RN202

Hello,

I am experience some strange errors.  I did a factory default with my RN202 and two 3TB drives.  I set it up at RAID0.   I backed-up some 2.6TB of data from another ReadyNAS that I having issues with.  These are the following Tools that I attempted to run and the associated error messages:

Tool               Code                  Message

Defrag:          14007010000     Defrag Volume Command failed

Scrub:            14007010000    Cannot scrub while volume is read-only

Balance:         14007049999    An error occurred while attempting to run Volume Balance

I checked and it shows that the volume has read/Write permissions.

I appreciate any help that can be provided.

Thank you,

-Alex

  • FramerV,,

i appreciate the follow-up.  I followed the directions you provided and email my logs to the address in the instructions.  I never heard from that action.  I did get a response from the error message sent from my unit to Netgear:

                       To: ReadyCloud <readycloud@netgear.com>
                       Subject: Customer Error Report

                        Model: ReadyNAS 202
                        Firmware: 6.6.1
                        Context: system_panel_storage
                        Error: 14007010000
                        Defrag Volume Command failed

Someone from Netgear engineering sent me a hotfix.  I installed it and the problems were fixed.

    Regards,

    Alex

We might need to do some deeper investigation here. Can you enable Secure Diagnostic Mode, and PM me the 5-digit code?
