Trouble finding USB-drive with Os6
Hi! I have an ultra 4 with os6 installed. When I add an external hard drive (USB 2.0 and ntfs file system) it does not find it. Is this a problem with legacy hardware and os6? The disk ...
I had a Ultra 4 (6.2 Beta) that I connected a 2TB USB drive to and it was ignored. Didn't show up. I didn't try anything other than plugging it in while the NAS was up. It had a USB 3.0 interface (HGST Touro). I ended up transferring the data over the network so I didn't try rebooting with it attached or any other options. I no longer have it so I can't do any further testing. It was new and I never tried attaching anything to it with 4.x... actually it only ran for a couple of minutes.
