Tweaking RAIDar's Java jre
Can someone maybe answer my question at: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=129&t=63963#p388011 I've done this tweak twice now. It does seem to work fine! Just wondering what to do with...
Don't feel too down Duncan. If your trusty ReadyNAS is doing what you require of it (without factoring in the bugs in the firmware), just relax. I liken this situation to somebody buying a second-hand car to replace their old junker (which is standard practice for most in the UK) and next day seeing your neighbour come home with a brand new Ferrari...
If it works, it works. I see my existing units lasting me a long time. Space will be my only concern, and maybe continued updates to the add-ons developed by the community members here. But that aside, no reason to feel too despondent from where I'm sitting.
