Ultra 4 Expansion Help

I currently have an Ultra 4 (X-RAID2) with four disks installed:

Ch 1 : MAXTOR STM3500630AS [465 GB] 461 GB allocated
Ch 2 : WDC WD7500AADS-00L5B1 [698 GB] 694 GB allocated
Ch 3 : WDC WD7500AADS-00L5B1 [698 GB] 694 GB allocated
Ch 4 : SAMSUNG HD103SI [931 GB] 694 GB allocated

Total disk space: 1837 GB, with 1600 GB used.

I would like to expand by adding a new 1.5 TB drive I just got, but am I right in thinking that if I add a 1.5 TB drive in slot #1, it will allocate 1 TB of space (give or take) to match the 1 TB drive (Disk 4) and will also expand that drive from the current 694 GB allocated to the full 931 GB? What happens in regards to redundancy?

    Yes.

Once the resync has completed redundancy will be restored.
